KOG HOT GLASS STUDIO PAPERWEIGHTS

These works of fine art were created at the historic Kokomo Opalescent Glass factory of Kokomo, Indiana. Kokomo Glass is the oldest manufacturer of colored sheet glass in the world, with documented sales to Louis C. Tiffany. The glass used to make these paperweights used the same family formulas, the same time-tested technology and even sand from the same quarry. Below are paperweights by Michael J. Amis and Jon M. Wolfe.

FOSSIL PAPERWEIGHTS....

8155A Jon M. Wolfe of KOG Large Fossil Paperweight - 3.5" d. x 3.25" h.  The clear aqua blue casing sets off the total presentation of aquatic life with a gray fossil encased in the top and two star fish in this paperweight. There is also a dichroic creature which I strongly feel is a fish. Signed "KOG WPW 002 7/07 Jon M. Wolfe" from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass hot shop.

3.75" d. x 3.5" h. - The core of this Tactile Fossil paperweight is brown with green aquatic grass, 2 starfish and other fossils in various colors along with 2 dichroic partial fish. Signed "KOG WPW 006 4/07 Jon M Wolfe" .

7605B  Jon M. Wolfe Green Tactile Fossil Paperweight - 3.5" d. x 3.25" h.  A clear Nautilus tops of the design of the Tactile Fossil paperweight which has two starfish and other sea life. The design is made up of four layers on the clear body. It is signed "KOG, WPW-006, 7/05" identifying it as Mr. Wolfe's work.

8123  Jon M. Wolfe Glass Small Green Fossil Paperweight - 3.25" d. x 3" h.  Basically green this Fossil paperweight has a gray Nautilus shell near the top, 2 starfish and other fossils among water grass within it's 5 glass layers. Signed "KOG WPW 001 5/07Jon M Wolfe".
