By award winning artist, Pipka, who has thrilled young and old alike with these wonderful, detailed images of old Father Christmas for over a decade. Pipka has established herself and her figurines as the premier Santa collection in the decorative marketplace. Each design is ornately detailed; making these works of art uniquely Pipka's.

Pipka was born in Slovakia and raised in Germany. After World War II, her family emigrated to a small town in North Dakota. Visits to Germany to see family kept the old world traditions alive and inspired her artistic talent. Her study and research into the many cultural traditions of Father Christmas inspired more highly detailed and ornately costumed Santas. Since the line's introduction in 1995, collectors throughout the country and the world have enthusiastically embraced Pipka's work.

The Cornish Santa, with the Celtic name of "Tas Nadelik", embodies the spirit of the Cornish people. The cat accompanying Santa represents the tale of the "Mousehole Lights". The legend is about  Mousehole, a small fishing village in West Cornwall with a beaituful harbor. A pie of many fishes was made from the catch, named Star Gazzy Pie. Merry Christmas from Cornwall!

In Bulgaria Father Christmas comes on January 1st. The Bulgarian Santa symbolizes some of his country's Christmas traditions with the goodies in his sack: a doll dressed in goat costume, goat bells and brightly wrapped packages and toys. He wishes all "Vasela Koleda "Merry Christmas".		$125.00

An important Danish custom is making paper ornaments. The Julemanden is adding his own garland of Danish flags to the little fir tree which is already decorated with candles, hearts and stars. The nisser are dancing around the tree and singing carols, just as Danish families do before opening their gifts on Christmas Eve.		$145.00
