Description: Raku Abstract Box with Lid. Top opening is 7/8" square. An interesting and lovely footed box with decorative lid. Each side has different decoration to add to the interest. Basically copper in color, there are also blue and red colors. Not signed, it is guaranteed to be by artist Mike Lemke.

About the Artist: Mike has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts/Ceramics, Sculpture from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Fine Arts/Ceramics degree from the Kansas State University. Juried, he has participated in International and National Exhibits and one-man shows winning various awards. His work was featured in the 1998 Rockport Publishers book, The Best of Pottery Two and is included in Sprint's corporate collection in Kansas City. He was accepted into the Sixth Annual Golden Ceramics Awards at the Yinkgo Museum in Taipai, Taiwan where his work remains in the permanent collection.
